Inside Sales Associate - Tymetal Corp.

Tymetal Corp., a subsidiary of The Fort Miller Group, is an employee owned company located in Greenwich, NY. We currently need a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to provide exceptional customer service on our Inside Sales team. Our Inside Sales Associates have a wide range of responsibilities, all focused on going the extra mile to serve our loyal customer base. Responsibilities of our Inside Sales Associate:

  • Work directly with customers and/or our Outside Sales Representatives to develop quotations for gate products and systems.
  • Respond to technical product inquiries and follow up on sales leads with the goal of closing every sale.
  • Work closely with engineering to assemble and distribute custom submittal packages for pending orders.
  • Enter sales orders in a timely manner to ensure we meet the production lead times and delivery promise dates.
  • Perform project management for larger projects, monitoring the sale from the time of order entry to the product installation at the job site.
  • Work closely with outside sales, engineering, manufacturing and shipping to ensure the smooth flow of information and effectively communicate with the customer throughout the process.
  • Work internally to resolve any and all customer service issues, including quality and delivery issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications for our Inside Sales Associate:

  • AAS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read project plans, specifications and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational and detail skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience with contact management software is preferred.
  • No travel is required for our Inside Sales position.
